The SOG Knives SOG-TAC AU Compact is the smaller, more compact version, as its name implies. It has snappy automatic action with an exciting XR Lock opener. By pulling the lock down in the same way to disengage it, the blade will flip open and lock into place. You can engage the safety by pushing the lock up instead of down, which, instead of adding an annoying extra step to opening the knife, simply makes opening it require more force, reducing your unintentional blade deployment chances to almost zero.
